A Real Story from a Fellow Parent and Business Owner
For over 20 years, I’ve been helping run my family’s hotel. I’ve done everything—from folding sheets to handling sales, operations, and staff.
I don’t technically own it, but I’ve always operated like I do—because I take full responsibility for the business and the people behind it.
But over time, I got comfortable.
Not “life is great” comfortable—just stuck in familiar patterns.
The business ran. The bills got paid (barely). And I stopped growing without even realizing it.
Then everything changed.
Kids. COVID. Costs rising. Motivation dropping.
And suddenly I was looking around—financially stretched, burned out, and unsatisfied.
I knew something had to shift. Not just for me—but for my team, for my family, for my family’s business, and for the kind of future I wanted to create.
So I went all in.
I started learning everything I could: sales, customer service, AI-powered marketing, business scaling, automation, modern-day technologies, and AI.
And while I’m still applying and refining what I’ve learned in my own businesses, it lit a fire I hadn’t felt in years.
That fire led to Schaller Business Solutions.
What started as a way to grow my own business is now evolving into something much bigger.
I realized there are so many other parentpreneurs stuck in the same loop—working nonstop, trying to be everything to everyone, and wondering if there’s a smarter way to grow.
There is. And I want to help them find it.
Over the past year, I’ve put in a massive amount of time, energy, and money to learn how to build and scale in today’s world surrounding such topics and then some.
It hasn’t been some neatly packaged classroom experience.
It’s been audio lessons while mowing the lawn, staying up late after putting the kids to sleep, listening or watching lessons while driving, paying babysitters just so I could attend a live training.
I’ve sacrificed sleep, time with my family and friends, even dealt with constant back pain from being hunched over for hours learning how to make this work.
It’s been hard—but it’s been worth it.
Because now it’s time to use what I’ve learned—not just for myself, but for my friends, my family, my team, and my community.
Because this isn’t just about making a living.
It’s about making a difference.
As parents, we’re not just building businesses—we’re raising kids in a world that’s changing fast.
And if they’re going to grow up in an AI-powered future, we owe it to them (and ourselves) to understand it, too.
This isn’t just about me making more money (though yes, I want that too).
It’s about building something sustainable that helps others grow as well.
It’s about giving my team the tools they deserve—to self-develop, educate themselves, and achieve their own goals.
I’ve come to believe—if I’m not helping my team reach their goals, how can I expect them to ever help me reach mine?
And it’s about creating the kind of life where my wife has the freedom to help others in the way that excites her most—on her own terms, not within someone else’s system.
I want to travel with my family.
I want to give my kids an incredible education—one that opens doors.
I want my friends, my community, and especially my children to look at me and think,
“He didn’t just work hard—he built something meaningful.”
That’s why I created this company.
To stop settling. To start leading.
And to help other business owners—and parents—do the same.
